What was the highlight of East hotel
Fantastic facilities, great stay!
Fantastic facilities, 3 pools, slides, zip line, private beach with shuttle. Very large, comfortable and clean room. Food was reasonably priced and good quality. One of the chefs cooked me a tagliatelle in a mushroom cream sauce which was nice. The lifeguard on the beach was doing a great job, going above and beyond taking pictures of people on the Dead Sea Hotel is actually the Grand East Hotel, this caused us to not be sure if we had the right property at check in.
For the buffet dinner, we had to ask for more meat to be cooked. The hotel was very empty so I think they didn’t want to unnecessarily spend on food, however it would have been nice for them to top the buffet a little when guests come for dinner rather than having empty trays and the guests having to ask for items which have ran out. On the plus side, it meant items were freshly cooked, it would have nice to be offered rather than having to ask however. Some of the breakfast pastries were quite stale, again, I think this is a product of the hotel being quiet. The pastries themselves seemed good quality and a good variety but some of them were dry.

What was the highlight of East hotel
A fairly nice stay
The location is perfect, with a nice big beach with just sand and no rocks. The breakfast buffet has a very wide selection. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I liked the spaciousness of their lobby area. While the rooms are still quite expensive, they're the cheapest option on the dead sea.
You can tell this place has quite a greedy energy. Way over priced food. Won't let you refill water bottles. Won't let you take towels outside of the hotel for day trips (an alarm goes off of you try to). Kept trying to raise the price of the room every night I extended my stay. The staff aren't the warmest people in the world. They don't radiate genuine care.

Excellent Dead Sea choice….
Great location on the Dead Sea with the opportunity to take mud baths. Comfortable clean rooms if a bit dated. Nice breakfast buffet. Allowed us a late checkout. We would return. Enjoyed our stay a lot
